    Description

Excellent condition Fermont MEP-803A 10Kw generator for sale mounted on a matching trailer with brand new 35? Goodyear Humvee tires and surge brakes. The generator has been load bank tested, and I?ll be glad to load bank it in person for serious buyers. The generator has a new water cooled 4 cylinder 1.2 liter Onan DN4M Diesel with 59 hours on the meter since its last MWO. Voltage selectable output configuration switch for quick configuration will output 100 amps at 120 volts (z leg) or single phase 120 - 240 volt at 50 amps per leg, or three phase 120 - 208 at 40 amps per leg. These are super flexible gensets that are rated for ?PRIME? power meaning they are designed to run for months at a time with just topping off fuel... not like your typical box store ?standby power? rated units. It?s onboard tank will run full load for about 10 hours on 12 gallons of diesel. It also has an alternate fuel inlet and pump that you can use to hook to a larger diesel storage tank. I have certified it at full load on an Avtron load bank to clear out any ?wet stacking? from being under loaded or extended runtime with no load. It?s very common to see wet stacking in military diesels. This unit is very young and should easily run in excess of 12,000 hours or more with proper maintenance. I am offering this generator and trailer at a very honest price, the generator alone would sell for the asking price without the trailer, however I truly believe there?s people that could use this unit with the storms approaching and I don?t gouge during times like this, nor do I want to make things difficult for anyone already suffering. Since the trailer has a pintle hitch, I will throw in a pintle hitch with a 12? rise for your Class IV receiver hitch. Note this unit DOES NOT have a transfer switch on board, so it?s up to you on how to safely isolate it from the utility during a power outage or it could back feed the utility company and cause harm to linemen, your generator, or other personnel. You can side feed a 50 amp double pole breaker ONLY if you have a main breaker or disconnect that can be turned off or opened to isolate your home or business from the utility company.
