500kW Caterpillar Engine/Generator Set

Description

This is a 2004 Caterpillar engine/generator set rated for 568kVA / 455kW prime power at 120/208V Wye, 60 Hz.  Engine is a Cat 3456, 15 liter, inline 6-cylinder diesel. Includes a Cat EMCPII digital control panel and dual main circuit breakers mounted in the alternator wiring cabinet.  Additional features include:
*  Racor duplex fuel filter assembly
*  Low idle switch
*  Dual main breakers: 1200A and 1000A
*  Reconnectable 12 Lead alternator to allow voltage change
This unit was used on the west coast for prime power; fluids and filters were changed like clockwork.  Unit has been load bank tested an runs strong.  Email us and we can arrange another load bank test and provide video confirmation of performance.
