You are bidding on a rare, perhaps one of a kind and uncommon work of art made by the artist, Meir Gur Aryeh of the Betzalel school. The portrait depicts  a Jewish yemenite maiden  dressed according to the custom of Teyman. Gur Aryeh created these portraits in the 1930s (see the Yemenite wise man and child in my Ebay store, and hand original portrait). These items are extremely rare to come by and make really nice decorations in any home. Portrait is unsigned and comes  already semi-framed.
