Description

Cat 3408 genset 480 volt 285 KW skid mounted. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This Generator came out of a power Authority building in Fort Collins Colorado that was scheduled for Demolition.
Generator was regularly maintained and was the entire buildings back up.
It was pulled out of the building on the skids with a large excavator and the skid frame did end up with some damage but the generator and engine are believed to be in perfect shape
As you can see this generator does not have a radiator it was plumbed in internally with the building.
I am sure there will be a few things here and there that need to be fixed on this unit and I have tried to take pictures of some of the wiring but all in all Generator seems to be in near perfect shape
The hourmeter does look to have been replaced but current our meter is showing 79 hours and I don’t think Generator had very many hours prior to the new meter being put in because the new meter is rather old itself
Of course returns are allowed if you find this generator is unacceptable but I do not think he will have issues with it as long as you know how to work on these items
Estimated weight is 10,000 pounds and I do have a forklift on site that will lift this unit
Reasonable offers will be entertained and of course I would rather sell locally so you could check out this unit before you buy it but I can help line up freight at buyers expense if you are not local
