David Pelbam Original Jewish RABBI Oil Painting 1950's -1970's 18" by 16" Nice

Original vintage Rabbi Oil painting by Pelbam. Measures about 17 1/2" x  26".
In very nice condition. Has what appears (?) to be (but not sure?) a couple very small whitish blemishes (?) as seen in the pics just above and to the right of his head. Im not sure if these are blemishes or just the way the painting was originally painted. But painting is in excellent shape otherwise with just a few minor scratches and nics on the frame. Presents very well!

David Pelbam (1932-2004) was a local artist in Rhode Island. He is most famous for painting portraits of dockworkers, ship captains, and rabbis. He is known to have painted between the years 1950-1975.
The value of a Pelbam Original Oil Painting can easily range in the thousands of dollars -- depending on the quality of the work. Pelbam's art has recently had a resurgence and people are really beginning to take note of Pelbam's unique style. From what I hear, people are often drawn to the subject's eyes in Pelbam paintings.
