Description
In this whimsically illustrated Haggada put out by the Jewish Americana bibliophile Judah Eisenstein, we find  really cute illustrations which reflect the signs of the times. See for example the top hatted Rabbi figure in the 1st scan and the lady in the 3rd scan, both wearing 1920s fashions which is when this Hagadah was originally printed in 1928.

What is also unusual and dare I say "unbecoming" are 2 illustrations which would undoubtedly be CENSORED in any Orthodox community. See scans 5 and 7 above. In scan 5 the woman is practically nude and in scan 7 a woman is forced to come to King Solomon! Talk about women's lib!
The Hagadda contains 72 pages and is profusely illustrated with pictures in practically every other page. It's a great piece to have in your collection.
