Converts existing generator engine, when manufacutor stopped supplying parts for the Mep-016B w/ a Onan single cylinder air cooled engine, Replaces the old engine with a Yanmar 10HP, Mdl. L100AE-DEMRYC single cylinder air cooled diesel engine that you allows you to start with a recoil hand start or electric start.Compression on top of engine for easy manual sart. This modification kit comes with everything you need to convert over, all electric, hardware and sub-comonets. You will also use your existing air filter and fuel filter system. takes about 6-8hrs.
Also includes parts manual/Installation instructions/operator manual. Benifits of this Yanmar kit,Lower db rating than the Onan engine, 10hp verses 7HP, pull start as well as electric, common over the counter parts avialable for this engine.
