This auction is for a membership certificate poster given to donors of the Rabbi Meir Baal Haness charity organization located in Jerusalem. The poster depicts the Western Wall (before it was liberated in 1967), the Tomb of Rebbe Meir Baal Haness, distribution of Matza in Jerusalem of the 1930's or 40's and the Knesset Israel neighborhood in Jerusalem, all pre-State period. The activities of this Charity org are also listed in English and Yiddish on the sides of the poster.
There IS a date on this poster 1940, but it's written 194-, meaning it was from 1940 and on.
MEASUREMENTS: 30 X 38CM = 14 X 12 INCHES.
CONDITION: Unused, some stains however on margins.
